Friends, you don't need to miss out on donuts just because you are gluten free.
These donuts are so easy and so delicious. You won't miss the gluten in these gluten free donuts as they are cake donuts.

For the Dough
1. Heat Canola oil to 350 degrees.
2. Mix until well mixed and smooth
1 cup white sugar
2 tablespoons butter
4 egg yolks
3. Mix in another bowl
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1¼ cups sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon of almond flour
4 cups all-purpose gluten-free flour blend
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoons ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 teaspoon xanthan gum
4. Mix the two bowls together. This will be sticky but that is okay.
5. Put a little of the gluten free flour on counter and dump the dough out on to it.
6. Roll the dough until smooth adding a little flour as needed.
7. Cut the dough into 16 pieces.
8. Roll the dough into a log and then connect the ends. Don't stretch it too much or you will loose the donut shape.
9. Fry the donuts until golden and place on a rack. Do not over pack the pan or fryer or your donuts won't have room to grow.
For the Glaze
1. Mix in a bowl to dip the donuts in
2 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2. Dip the donuts after they have set for around 5 minutes in the glaze. ENJOY!
